Note- this is my husband's uncle.

This is a note that his wife sent to me-

"Minnie (Minnie Ella Stark-Reed his mom) told me that Earl was a pre-mature baby and only weighed three pounds at birth. The docotor didn't know what to do for him and told cyrus and Minnie to take him home and do what they can for him. Minnie found out Oatmeal juice was the only food Earl could digest the first months. Oatmeal was his main food for the next two years. Thereafter Earl disliked Oatmeal forever."

"Earl was a kind and generous person and never met a stranger. His hobby was photography and he was very good at it. Earl was dedicated to his job. He worked for Columbia Truck Leasing which later was purchased by Ryder Truck Rental, Inc.
He had worked for this company for 31 years. On August 16, 1973 Earl was in a fatal truck accident."
