Doug C. Daybell, of Sandy City, Utah, passed away on March 13, 2009.


He was born on April 22, 1946 in Provo, Utah to LaVar and Myrle Daybell.


He married Judy Koyle on October 6, 1972 in the Provo LDS Temple. Doug was an active member of the LDS Church, served a full-time mission and held various church callings throughout his life. He was known for his service to others and his incredible work ethic.


He is survived by his wife Judy; two daughters JoDee (Kim) Esplin and Jamie Daybell; four grandsons Jesse, Cole, Wyatt and Garrett; brothers Kenneth (Shirleen) Daybell, and Ronald Daybell; sisters Barbara Conover, JoAnn Jensen and Dorothy (Dennis) Tuckett. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father and a brother.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Crescent Park Fourth Ward Chapel, 10885 South Pampas Way, Sandy, Utah. Family and friends may call at the Church on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and before the services on Thursday from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
