Edna Irue Barnhill, age 73, of Paragould passed away Saturday, May 3, 1997, at her home.

She was born April 2, 1924, in Fayette County, AL. She was a homemaker and a member of East Side Baptist Church in Paragould.

She was preceded in death by her parents, B.D. "Dean" and Katherine "Katie" Pinkerton Miles, and three brothers, Leon Miles, Nathan Miles and Kenneth S "Pete" Miles SR.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Mary Barnhill of Jonesboro and Roger and Ramona Barnhill of Paragould, two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Don Sanders of Collierville, TN., and Lisa and Randy Wallace of Paragould, a brother, Doug Miles of Paragould, two sisters, Magdalene Brown and Gretchen Harvey, both of Paragould, five grandchildren, Marty Barnhill of Flowermound, TX., Toni Gerdes of Conway, Forrest Sanders of Collierville and Nicholas Wallace and Joshua Barnhill, both of Paragould and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the Heath Funeral Home in Paragould with the Rev. Wilburn Griggs officiating.
Burial will be at Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Paragould.
