Mary E. Weber, 88, Hollidaysburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was reunited with her beloved husband, Ed, Tuesday afternoon at her residence. She was born in Sunbury, Pa., daughter of the late Howard H. Jr. and Helen (Osman) Johnson. She married the Rev. Edward S. Weber Jan. 19, 1942, in Winchester, Va. He died May 14, 1986. She is survived by three children; Dick Weber and wife, Judy, with whom Mary resided, Jo Ann McGarvey and husband, the Rev. David McGarvey, of Leedey, Okla., and Betty Robertson and husband, Dave, of Hollidaysburg RD; seven grand- children; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers; Thomas Johnson of Altoona and Kenneth Johnson of Canoe Creek; and three sisters: Dorothy Glass of Roaring Spring RD, Doris Evans of Claysburg and Nancy Holsinger of Roaring Spring RD. She was preceded in death by four sisters. Mary was a charter member of the Fields of Harvest Fellowship, Altoona, the church that originated at the Weber Farm. She worked alongside her husband on their farm and in his ministry. She was a faithful volunteer at Girl Haven and at the American Rescue Workers for 15 years. She was a 1940 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, flowers and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Faith Assembly of God, Roaring Spring, by Pastor Hud Crossman and Pastor Anthony Baker. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg, Pa.
