Annie Mae Blount was born August 13, 1892 in Smithville DeKalb County, Tennessee, to G. C. Blount and Nancy Deliah McDaniel Blount. ~ BLOUNT, Mrs. Annie Mae, 218 Ruth St., died in a local hospital Saturday at 6:05 p.m. after an extended illness.

Survivors, husband, A. C. Blount; sons, Everett C. Drake, Huntsville; Eugene H. Drake, Houston, Tex., daughter, Mrs. Evelyn D. Wilkes, Huntsville: brother, P. S. Blount, Guntersville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at Collier-Butler Chapel tomorrow at 10 a.m. with Rev. O.B. Sansbury officiating.

Burial, and graveside services Will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntsville, tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.

Active pallbearers, Jessie Oliver, Donald Roe, James D. Drake, Everett C. Drake, Jr., Bobby Blount, Thomas Blount.

Mrs. Blount was a native of Smithville, Tenn., a former resident or Huntsville and had resided in Etowah County for the past 33 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

The body will remain at Collier-Butler Parlors through the hour of service.
