POCATELLO -- Joseph J Sedlar 75 passed away Sunday afternoon Aug 31 1997 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah from complicated following surgery.
Joseph was born Feb 1 1922 in Leask, Saskatchewan, Canada to Joseph and Theresa Verbanac Sedlar.
Joseph served with the US Army in World War II
He married Bonita Bell Mueller Feb 18 1950 in Benton Harbor Michigan where they lived for 17 years. In October 1969 the family moved to Lake Havasu City Ariz untill 1974 when they moved to Pocatello. Joseph last worked for Bucyrus - Erie for nine years as a machinist.
Joseph enjoyed fishing, cooking, taping movies and watching golf and tennis.
Survivors include His wife Bonita; three daughters, JoAnn Misner, Brenda Brenchley and Ginny Poppleton; and seven grandchildren of Pocatello; a brother Theodore of Hastings, Minn; six sisters Gerturde Harrier; Ruth Martin, Dorothy Smouse and Frances Servis all of Dowogaic, Michigan; Elizabeth Pierman, Rockville, Md and Mary Ann Balla, Placentia, Calif
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and brothers William and Robert.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Sept 6 1997 at 11 am at the Henderson - Cornelison. Funeral Home 431 N 15th Ave. The family will recieve friends Friday evening Sept 5 from 7 pm to 9 pm and from 10 am until service time on Saturday at the Mountianview Cemetery at a later date.
