As a young boy he moved to Sunny Slope Oklahoma with his family.He was 9 when his mother Sarah and older sister Grace died of typhoid fever in 1910.by 1920 he had moved to Minnesota, and enlisted into the U.S. Army.he served his country proud in W.W.1 and W.W.2
He Married Signe Helmena Anderson and they had 3 children together,Signe Viola,Jerry Frimpter and Victor Harlan.
he stayed in Minnesota when he got out of the Army.his wife passed away and Married again to Elizabeth Swenson.
Perry passed away Dec. 27,1966 in west concord,Dodge Co. Minnesota.where he was buried with honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
