Mr. Frank Curtis Hill, Sr., age 68 of Hill Town, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in the East Texas Medical Center-Crockett. Mr. Hill was born June 24, 1940 in Houston County, Texas and had lived in Hill Town most of his lifetime. He was a member of the N. R. A. and a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. Mr. Hill was retired having worked as a Power Train Specialist for Heavy Equipment and a member of the Piney Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons Frank Curtis Hill, Jr. and wife Linda, of San Augustine, Matthew Hill and wife Janna, of Hood River, Daniel Hill and wife Robin, and Randall Hill and wife Lori, of Hill Town; daughter Krystal Roy and husband Jonathan, of Texarkana; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Paul Jerry Hill and wife Mary Ann, of Broaddus; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by his brother Jim Ed Hill; sister Cynthel Lambright; and parents Jim H. and Henrietta Hill.
Funeral Services for Mr. Frank Curtis Hill, Sr. were held Friday, February 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Piney Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. James Bickley and the Rev. Terry Gibson officiating. Interment followed in the Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hill Cemetery Association.
