Mrs. Ballinger, who before her marriage was Clara Mendenhall, a former teacher in Randolph County Schools. She has lived in Cambridge City for the past 40 years. She was a member of the Methodist church and of the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Eunice Ballinger, at home, teacher and principal of the Central Grade school of Cambridge City, and Mrs. Ronald McNeely of Indianapolis; one son, Arthur of Cambridge City; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild and a sister Mrs. Alice Moore of Losantville.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Howard and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Don Utterback of Cambridge Methodist Church. Burial Riverside cemetery in Cambridge City.
