Graveside services for Lena J. (Smith) Boylen, age 79, of Warren, formerly of Mentor, will be noon Monday, Feb. 2, at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township.

Mrs. Boylen died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at her daughter's residence in Warren.

She was born Jan. 20, 1930, in West Virginia.

Mrs. Boylen loved to crochet and read.

Survivors are her children, Darrelene (Doug) Skaggs of Warren, Roy (Susan) Boylen of Madison and James (Fern) of Mentor; brother John Smith of Florida; sisters, Mary (Lyder) Jensen of Texas and Elsie Corbin of Maryland; and grandchildren, Doug (Stacie) Skaggs, Melissa (Steve) Miller, Roy Skaggs, Sam (Cheryl) Boylen, Crystal (Noel, Jr.) Boggs, Gary (Becky) Boylen, Melissa (Brian) Pettit, Jamie (Mick) Ferritto and Sarah (Gary) Eslinger. (And many great grandchildren).

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Boylen Sr. and brother-in-law, Milton Corbin.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Mentor.
