B. Frank Chambers, 71, of 610 Helm St., was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital at 8:15 a.m. Saturday. A retired farmer, he was born April 10, 1902, in Cass County, the son of V. P. and Melinda
Hinkle Chambers. He was married May 1, 1924, to Olive Bockover, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons; James F. of Torrence, Calif.; George L. of Littleton, Colo.; and Gary R. of Logansport; a daughter, Mrs. John Porter, Rt. 2, Logansport; two brothers, Lorian of Lucerne and Dennis of Monticello; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Schrader and Mrs. Freda Vaughan, both of Logansport, and Mrs. Ann Bowyer, of Rt. 2, Walton; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren,
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kroeger Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul Grant officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday.
