Earlene Faulkenberry, 88, of Brownfield passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 in Wolfforth. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Brownfield First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ruby Moultrie officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Earlene was born on August 19, 1920 in Eastland County to Earl and Lillie Brown. She married Tim Faulkenberry on August 25, 1941 in Loraine, TX. Together they moved to Brownfield in 1951, where they opened their animal hospital in 1955. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2008. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Eastern Stars.

Earlene is survived by 3 sons; Dr. Tim L. Faulkenberry of Austin, James E. Faulkenberry and his wife Terry of Abilene and Jerry T. Faulkenberry of Ft. Worth; her daughter, Judy Faulkenberry of Lubbock; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and her sister, Juanita Hicks of Belton.
