Lawrence L. Walton, age 62 of St. Paul, died July 24th at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Walton is survived by wife Barbara; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Deborah) Dox, Janice Walton and Mrs. James (Laureen) Berg and three grandchildren, all of St. Paul; brothers Howard of Rush City and Robert of Isanti; a sister; Mrs. Clayton (Ora) Green of Hugo; nieces and nephews.
Mr. Walton was born in Nessel Township and lived there until he went into the Army in 1942.
He had recently retired from Central Warehouse after 31 years of service. He was a member of VFW Joseph Ervin Post #458; Military Order of the Cootie #52; and Teamsters Union #533.
Memorial services were held July 28th at Fort Snelling Historic Chapel.
