Raymond L. Wonders, 413 North Front St., Boiling Springs, father of Mrs. Harvey G. Nye Jr., died suddenly Thursday in Carlisle Hospital.
Wonders was employed as a purchasing agent at the Carlisle Army Barracks, and associated with an insurance and real estate agency.
He was a member of the Euclid Lodge, F and AM, Harrisburg; the Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Shrine, the Boiling Springs Lions and Booster Clubs, and St. John's Lutheran Church, Carlisle.
In addition to Mrs. Nye, he leaves his wife, Mrs. Hazel (Wentzel (sic)) Wonders; a son, Cpl. James D. Wonders, with the Army in Germany; one grandson, Stanley Lee Nye; a sister Mrs. Earl Bentz, York, and a brother, Eugene Wonders, Franklintown.

Funeral services for Raymond L. Wonders, Boiling Springs, who died on Thursday, were held on Tuesday in the J.R. Shulenberger Funeral Home. Rev. George Defrehn officiated. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The pallbearers were John Bixler, Harold Whitcomb, George Taylor, George Anderson, Mearle Balmer, William Butcher, Howard Wise and Leroy Logan.
