OBITUARY:

ISAAC E. SPRENG

Isaac E. Spreng, son of John and Matilda Spreng was born March 23, 1869, near Jeromesville, Ohio.

He was united in marriage to Elsie Coble, Jan. 14, 1892. To this union was born two daughters, Mrs. Irma Scott of Ashland, Ohio, and Mrs. Marguerite Garden of Hutchinson, Kansas.

Mr. Spreng united with the U. B. church of Lake Fork, Ohio at the age of 24 years.

He departed this life at Sycamore, Jan. 24, 1937, aged 67 years, 8 months and 1 day.

He leaves to mourn their loss his wife, two daughters, three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. C. H. Fink of Florida and Mrs. Blanche McClain of Jeromesville, besides a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from the home Jan. 28 at 9:30 with Rev. J. E. Shaffer officiating. The pallbearers were D. D. Hosterman, Harry VanGundy, W. A. Caughey, W. R. Emerson, Wm. Tschanen and L. A. Niebel. The body was taken to the Lake Fork U. B. church where services were held at 2 o'clock with Rev. Morris Fuller assisting Rev. Shaffer. The pallbearers were Cliff Baird, Brady Baird, John Spreng, J. T. Austin and Don Spreng. Interment was in Lake Fork cemetery.

Those who attended from a distance were Mrs. Marguerite Garden and two daughters Peggy and Beverly of Hutchinson, Kan., Mr. and Mrs C. M. Scott of Ashland, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Coble of Tippecanoe City, Mrs. Ida Spreng and son Charles of McCutchenville, Mr. and Mrs. John Spreng and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Feasel of Tiffin, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Vanderhoff, Mrs. Eva Rosencrans and Wilbur Hoadley all of Findlay.
