Bernice "Cookie" M. Bruce of Meadowview Apt., Central Square, died Sunday at the age of 85. She worked as a timekeeper at O.M. Edwards in Syracuse and Ben Franklins' 5&10. Cookie was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Robert D. Bruce, in 1985, and 12 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a nephew Robert A. Kuhn and nieces, Marjorie A. Mowers and Diane L. Stackpoole, and many other family members. Friends are invited to attend her graveside service Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay.
Contributions may be made to SOVAC of Central Square or the American Cancer Society in Cookie's memory. Arrangements entrusted to Traub Funeral Home, Inc. Central Square, NY.
