The son of Walter Alpheus Mace and Mattie Ahlers Gray, Everitt W. Mace married Mabel Powell. They had three children: Merita Mace Downham, Marilyn Mace Bennett, and Everitt William Mace.

Everitt Walter Mace, 72, Round
Rock, Texas, a former area resident,
died Thurs., March 12, 1981,
in Round Rock.
A Scottsburg native, he formerly
lived and worked in the Logansport
and Monticello, Indiana, areas.
Syrvivors include his wife, Mabel;
two daughters, Mrs. Walter
(Merita) Downham, Rt. 3,
Logansport, and Marilyn Bennett,
Lafayette; one son, E.W. Mace,
Hutto, Texas; two sisters; seven
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services and burial were Saturday
at Memorial Hills Cemetery at
Austin, Texas.
