Funeral services for the late Rev Craig D Slagle, pastor of the Somerset United Evangelical Church, who died Wednesday night, took place yesterday afternoon from the Somerset U E Church and were largely attended. The Rev F D Ellengerger, of Ferndale, was in charge. The sermon was preached by the Rev Dr J Q A Curry, of the South Side, and the eulogy was given by the Rev Dr F E Hetrick, of the Dale U E Church. The Rev W W Elrick, of Tanneryville, read the scriptures and the Rev D L Yoder, of Morrellville, offered prayer.

The following ministers acted as pallbearers: The Rev W M Minord, of Jennertown; P L Griffith, of Franklin, PA; J C Wygant, of Portage; Boyd E Coloman, of Conemaugh; Harvey B Seese, G K Hetrick, O G Fye and T J Barlett, of this city. Other ministers in attendance were the Rev Sidney V Carmany, of the Willowstreet Church, a nephew of the deceased; N Frank Boyer, of Windber; G A Collin, of Oil City; J D Hammer, of Salix; J H Wise and W A Bowman, of Somerset; D G Baumgardner, of Salix. Together with all the ministers from other denominations residing in Somerset. Burial was made in Husband Cemetery.
