Born August 14, 1902, in West Newtown, Westmoreland County, he was the son of the late Andy and Mary Melchoris Tuckish.
His wife, Lucy (Toots) Varesko Tuckish, survives.
Mr. Tuckish was a retired coal miner from the Buckeye Coal Co. He had resided all of his life in Carmichaels and was a member of St. Hugh's Church.
Mr. Tuckish was a member of UMWA Nemacolin Local 6290 and the Jednota Lodge of Masontown.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is one brother, Andrew Tuckish of Ft. Thomas, Arizona.
Two brothers, John and Mike Tuckish, and two sisters, Mary K. Prodan and Anna Varesko, are deceased.
