She was born Nov. 18, 1906, in Peoria, the daughter of Robert C. and Edith K. Laumeyer Buckley. She married Albert H. Trede in 1926; he preceded her in death in 1991. A daughter, Alvalon June Edwards, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Trede was a member of the Springfield Housing Authority Playgrounds and Recreation Commission at the John Hay Homes for 36 years. She also was a member of Kumler United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Order of the Eastern Star and the Mayor's Senior Citizen's Commission.
Survivors: two sisters, Irma Clayton of Cleveland and Dorothy Juhl of Springfield; two nieces; two nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services: Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Roosevelt Sam Smith II officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
