FISHER AND WIFE KILLED BY TRAIN AT MILNER TODAY
Prominent Pike County Couple are Hurled into Eternity
as They Attempt to Cross Railroad Crossing at Miler

Mr and Mrs J J Fisher were instantly killed Tuesday morning when a southbound Central passenger train from Atlanta crashed into an automobile in which the couple were attemping to cross the railroad crossing at Milner. The man and woman were terribly mangled and the car was almost torn to pieces.
It is not known just why the parties failed to see the train and avoid it but it is said Mr Fisher, who was driving, probably became excited or his car failed to run.
Mr Fisher was a man about sixty-five years of age and his wife was about ten years his junior. They were prominent people and were highly esteemed by all who knew them.
Arrangements for the double funeralhave not yet been made.
