Abraham F. Ruth of Rothsville
Abraham F. Ruth, son of the late Jacob F. Ruth, died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Catharine Ruth, at Rothsville, on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m., after an illness of about two weeks with paralysis of the brain. His age was 20 years and 10 months. He was a cigarmaker by occupation. Several years ago he was a patient of the White Haven Sanitarium, where he remained a year. He is survived by the following brothers and one sister: John, of Rothsville; Frank, of Adamstown; Mamie, wife of Elam Bouder, of Rothsville; Leroy, at home; James, an inmate of the Soldiers' Orphans' school at Chester Springs, Pa. Deceased was a member of the P. O. S. of A. of Rothsville, and the Jr. O. U. A. M. of Akron. The funeral will take place on Saturday at 9:30 A. M. from the house. Interment will be made in the Rothsville Lutheran cemetery. Revs. J. A. Heitler and S. P. Erisman will officiate. Washington Camp will attend the funeral in a body and hold its customary funeral services at the grave.
Cause of death: Tubercular meningitis.
