She worked as a cafeteria worker for Luray Elementary School for 23 years. Prior to that, she worked at Luray Textiles. She was a member of Luray Church of the Brethren.
On Oct. 24, 1945, she married William Herrick Morgan, who preceded her in death Oct. 22, 1994.
Surviving are a daughter, Deborah A. Ritchie; a granddaughter, Carol D. Kling; and three great-grandchildren, Michael C. Kling, Melissa D. Kling and Nathan M. Kling, all of Luray.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence William Aleshire and Ashby Franklin Aleshire.
