Christian Leader, Businessman: In 1971 Jay Fesperman was co-founded with his wife Sally Fesperman, "The Inn of the Last Resort and the Christian Training Center" in Franklin, North Carolina. Renown Bible Teacher he was know for his message, "Life Is Relationship." Jay was an associate of Bible teacher Derek Prince and a founder of Intercessors for America. He began work in the carpet industry becoming president of James Lee Carpets. Later he would be an international consultant of the carpet industry in many countries around the world. Upon retirement purchased the Wayah Valley Inn as a Christian Retreat Center. For the next twenty-two years was involved as a Christian leader around the world, traveling all over to lead conferences in Family Life and Relationships. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II where he was a 1st Lt. upon discharge.
