Son of Bert and Nellie(Keck) Marlett, William was born on a farm south of Boyceville in the township of Stanton. he married Florence henderson on February 11, 1922 at Glenwood City. He was a resident of Dunn County his whole life living around Boyceville. He is survived by his wife, one son Darin of Boyceville, one daughter Audrey(Mrs Jule Peck) of Quincy IL, four grandchildren, five brothers; Dewey of Glenwood City, Murl of Boring Oregon, Howard, Clayton, Noble and Clifford of Boyceville. Sisters Flossie of Boyceville and Bessie(Mrs Herbert Hintzman of Clayton. Preceeding him in death were one son, his parents, brother Virgil, and three sisters; Pearl(Mrs Dewey Shong), Gladys(Mrs Ed Slind) and Della(Mrs Leonard Orfgen. Service held at the Boyceville Methodist Church.
