Mrs. Minne Aldridge

Mrs. Minne Lou Aldridge, 63, Hartselle 2, died Sunday at 7 a.m. in a Birmingham hospital.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Johnson Chapel. Burial in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include, parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hampton, Decatur; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Thompson, Eatonton, Ga; Mrs. Jeanette Johnson, Hartselle; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ola Johnson and Mrs. Hilda Barnette, Decatur; five stepsons, Burch Aldridge, Birmingham; Wilford Aldridge, Arkansas; Milton Aldridge, Decatur; James Aldridge, Florence; and Harold Aldridge, Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Royer, Decatur, Mrs. Mabel Watterson, Birmingham; and 20 grandchildren.

Minnie Lou Hampton Russell Aldridge was born Saturday, June 12, 1897 in Lawrence County, Alabama to George Washington Hampton and Ellen Elizabeth Kitchens Hampton.

She was first married to Allie Johnson Russell, a son of George Washington Russell, Jr. and Alice Viola Benham Russell.

After his death, she married William Walter Aldridge, a son of Reverend William Warren Aldridge and Iris Rosalor Parker Aldridge.

Her grave shares a stone with that of her daughter, Lottie Marie Howell.
