Russell F. Cleaver, Jr.
Age 85, formerly of Middletown, DE, died Friday, October 01, 1999 at Magnolia Hall Nursing Center in Chestertown, MD.
Mr. Cleaver had operated a dairy farm from 1936-1977 in the Middletown-Odessa area and he was a past member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Townsend.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise M. Cleaver, in 1971 and his second wife, Betty S. Cleaver, in 1983. He is survived by his companion and close friend, Anna May Lane; a nephew, Charles "Russell" Spicer of Beltsville, MD; and a niece, Ann Louise Spicer of Kensington, MD.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, October 4 at 11 am in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Port Penn Rd. There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Immanuel United Methodist Church, Main Street, Townsend. Arrangements by DANIELS & HUTCHISON FUNERAL HOME, Middletown.
