Mr Heuisler was born in Baltimore on February 17, 1832, the son of the late Joseph and Mary Parker Heuisler. On March 29, 1853, he married Catherine, daughter of the late Henry McCann, a public school teacher, for many years. She survives him, along with their six children, Charles W. Heuisler, an attorney, Margaret P, wife of Frederick C. Cook, an attorney, Dr. Joseph G. Heuisler, who married Miss Katie, daughter of William H. Jenkins, Mary A., wife of Francis E. Tormey, an architect, Philip H. Heuisler, superintendent of The Emerson Drug Co. and William F. Heuisler of Philadelphia. The Sun, Baltimore, Md. 10/16/1899
