Kathryn Louisa "Kate" Besse, 20, of Millstadt, Ill., born Nov. 6, 1988, died Monday, March 9, 2009, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Ruth Besse and Stanley Kozlowski.
Surviving are her parents, Kenneth and Mary Frances, nee Kozlowski, Besse of Millstadt, Ill.; sisters and brothers, Brad Besse of St. Louis, Mo., Leah (Steve) Barbeau of Millstadt, Ill., Anna (Dave) Valentin of Belleville, Ill., Rob Besse, Therese "Tabby" Besse, Rachel Besse, Nick Besse, Christopher Besse, Jeff Besse, Luke Besse and Douglas Besse all of Millstadt, Ill.; grandmother, Regina Kozlowski of St. Louis, Mo.; niece, Lilly Barbeau; and aunts, uncle, cousins and many friends.
Cause of Death: Suicide
