Charles F. Zumwalt
Charles F. Zumwalt died Aug. 26, 2004, at age 96.
Mr. Zumwalt was born July 14, 1908, in Barnes, Kan., and lived in Alberta before moving to Yakima as a teenager. During World War II he worked in the shipyards. He moved to Forest Grove and was a truck driver for Risberg Truck Lines. In 1932, he married Alfhild Nordgren; she died in 2002.
Survivors include his sons, David F. and Dale C.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
