Abbie Bridge
Abbie F. Bridge, 87, of 313 E. 5th St., died at 5:45 a. m. today at Muscatine Care Center, following an extended illness.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a. m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home.
Abbie Bridge was born July 6, 1887 in Bloomington Township the, daughter of Joseph
and Exira (Hood) Essex.
She married Herman A. Bridge December 12, 1906 in Muscatine. Mrs. Bridge was a life resident of Muscatine, had been a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John (Adel) Thirtyacre, Mrs. Ralph (Gertrude) Lippelgoes
both of Muscatine, and Mrs. Raymond (Donna) Griffith, Blue Grass, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one sister Mrs. Gertrude Norris, Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and five brothers.
