Funeral services for Charles C. ACKERMAN, 80, of Gore, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Webbers Falls with Father Jeff Polasek officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. ACKERMAN was born August 13, 1924, in Morris, to Charley Carlos ACKERMAN and Millie Mae (MORGAN) ACKERMAN. He died Friday June 3, 2005, in Norman. He married Ruth BACH on Sept. 28, 1946, in Okmulgee. Survivors include his children, Kathy and James, Jim and Elizabeth, and Jay and Toni; one daughter-in-law, Joyce; Sister, Betty; brother-in-law, Paul; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Ruth, a son, Ronald ACKERMAN and two sisters, Madelyn DESMOND and Cleda HUDSPETH.
