Elizabeth (Koehler) Reinecke died of tuberculosis in Colorado Springs but was taken to Baileyville, Kansas and was buried next to her eldest child, a daughter, Appolonia (aka Pauline). The family moved to Colorado to be near Elizabeth in her illness. Elizabeth and Joseph had nine children - Appolonia, Andrew, Marie Rose (Gray), Joseph, Mathias, Catherine, Lawrence, Loretta (Cox), Bernard
