Services for Jack A. Clement, 91, Norfolk, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Norfolk. The Rev. Dan Roberts will officiate with burial in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 16 and Verterans of Foreign Wars Winter-Munson Post 1644.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Howser-Fillmer Mortuary in Norfolk.
He died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Beverly Health Care Center in Norfolk.
The son of Allen and Elsie (Armstrong) Clement was born April 25, 1909, in Hudson, S.D. He graduated from high school in Platte, S.D. He served i the U.S. Army from 1942-45.
He married Rose Larkin on Oct.1 , 1941, in Bloomfield. They moved to Norfolk in 1943. He was employed as a cook in the food service department at the Norfolk Regional Center for 15 years.
Mr Clement was a lifetime member of the Verterans of Foreign Wars in Norfolk. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served as clerk for 23 years.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews.
