Lois Fraley, Gilmer Self, Nannie (Self) Fraley (Lois's mother), Dallas Self, & Zeura (Self) Hayse
(Gilmer, Dallas, & Zeura were Nannie's siblings)

The Fraley home on St. Paul Hill in Russell Co, VA. They moved here in the spring of 1946.

Charles Edward Fraley (1880 - 1945)
Nannie Belle Self Fraley (1880 - 1969)

In April 1910,
C. Edward & Nannie Fraley, ages 28, owned a farm in Castlewood, Russell Co, VA. They had been married 6 years; Nannie had given birth to 2 children, but only Lois, age 3, was living. Charles supported them by farming.

On February 12, 1920,
Charles E. & Nannie B., ages 39, lived in Castlewood on their farm that was mortgage free. Their daughter, Lois E., was 13.

On April 15, 1930,
Edd C. & Nannie, ages 49, lived in Castlewood on their farm with their daughter, Lois, age 23. The record showed that he wasn't called to serve in WWI.

Lois supported herself as a seamstress. She never married.

She was diagnosed as having Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia about 1970. She was a patient in the Lebanon General Hospital when she died from Acute Pneumonia at 1:50 p.m. on February 21, 1971. She was 64 years old.
