Julia Hamilton, 72, died Tuesday, March 18, 2003 in a Las Vegas hospital. She was born July 19, 1930, in Dover, Ga.
A retired teacher for the Clark County School District, she was a 32-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Inc.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, James of Las Vegas; daughters, Patricia Evans of Atlanta and Sandra of Phillips Ranch, Calif.; sister, Mary Hallman of Atlanta; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Palm Mortuary-Eastern and from 9 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Monday at Unity Baptist Church. Graveside services will follow at noon at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Unity Baptist Church Sunday School.
