John Brunner, 73 Years Old, Dies At Home
John Brunner, 73, of 828 Lebanon avenue, brother-in-law of the late Fred Saeger, former Chief of police here, died at his home at 6:45 last night. He had been ailing for some time.
Mr. Brunner was a retired iron molder. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
A native of Belleville, he was born July 26, 1876, and was the son of John and Elizabeth Brunner.
He is survived by his wife, the former Carrie Saeger; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Burke, and brothers-in-law, Louis and Joe Saeger, all of Belleville.
Friends may call at the Pete Gaerdner funeral home after 6 o'clock this evening.
The funeral will be from the funeral home at 8:45 Thursday morning to St. Theresa's church at 9 o'clock for services.
He was a member of Iron Molder Local 220 and Progressive Miners Local 4.

Pallbearers Named For Brunner Rites
Pallbearers for the funeral of John Brunner, 73, of 828 Lebanon avenue, who died Monday, will be Martin Junker, Erwin Siegler, William Frech, Charles Kammerer, Sylvester Mueller and Eugene Bertelsman.
The funeral will be from the Gaerdner funeral home at 8:45 tomorrow morning to St. Theresa's church at 9 o'clock for services. Interment in Green Mount cemetery. Msgr. William Hoff, pastor, will officiate.
