Lincoln, Jan. 13. - Mrs. Ellen N. [sic] Goff, 70, died at 4:30 o'clock this morning at her home at Middletown.
Mrs. Goff was born in Irish Grove community, Menard county, Aug. 18, 1856.
She was married to L.K. Goff on Aug. 1, 1876 [sic] in Petersburg. Three children were born to them, Mrs. Lotto Payne, of Fancy Prairie; Edwin Goff, of Lincoln; and Gilbert, of Middleton.
She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Louise Belt, of Butler, Mo.; and Mrs. Mary Mitchell, of Waverly.
Funeral services were held at Middletown Presbyterian church.
Interment was made in Sugar Grove cemetery.
