Husband of Ann (Campbell) Quein. Son of George Algernon and Blanche Bouy (Martel) Quein.

George W. Quein, 79, of 5928 Welcome Road, died Oct. 24 at the VA Medical Center, Bay Pines.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Bradenton Funeral Home, 5100 Cortez Rd. W. Services will be conducted by the Manatee Lodge 31 F&AM at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Walter Fisher officiating. Burial will be in the Manasota Memorial Park, Once.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Quein came to Bradenton from Cleveland, Ohio, 30 years ago. He was a retired salesman for the Singer Sewing Machine Co. He was a member of the Manatee Lodger 31 F&AM; Scottish Rite Valley of Tampa; Sahib Temple of Shrine, Sarasota; Manatee Shrine Club; Queen Christina Court 7 of the Amaranth; and past president of the High 12 Club.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; a daughter, Barbara Kotte of Canton, Ohio; three daughters, (sic. sisters) Mabel Favreau of Kansas City, Mo., Thelma Dannelly of Newport News, Va., and Eleanore (sic) Turner of Philadelphia; a brother, Byard,of Bridgeton, N.J.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews."
