Arnold C. Cranston was my 3rd gr. grandfather he was born 17 march 1799 in Rhode Island. His gr.gr. grandfather was the governor of Rhode Island as was his father before him Cranston R.I. was named after them. Arnold's wife was Celinda Kimball born 20 July 1804 and died in 1877.
