William Knuth Taken By Death

William Albert Knuth, 822 Greenwood Avenue, St. Joseph, died at 1:54AM this morning at the St. Joseph Sanitarium at the age of 42.

Mr. Knuth was born August 13, 1887 in St. Joseph. He had been employed at the Producers Creamery in Benton Harbor for the past 12 years and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Joseph. He was also a World War veteran.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4PM Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Louis Nuecherlein officiating. The body will lie in state at the church Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service and burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his widow, Jean; one daughter, Mrs. Faye Bertie, Benton Harbor; his mother, Mrs. Johanna Knuth, St Joseph; one grandson Robert Bertien, Benton Harbor; seven sisters, Mrs. Esther Frobel, Mrs. Sophia Froebel, Mrs. Anna Radde, Mrs. Ruth Lambrecht, Mrs. Ella Cassidy, Miss Emma Knuth, and Miss Lucille Knuth, all of St. Joseph; and three brothers, Harry Knuth of Benton Harbor, Herbert Knuth, Bridgman, and Arthur Knuth, St. Joseph.

The body will be taken to the residence Tuesday afternoon from the Kerllowski Funeral Home.
