Myrtle Eunice McCay
Mrs. Myrtle Eunice McCAY, 70, died at 3 p.m. Monday at her home on R.R. 2, Rochester. She had been in ill health for the past several months. Practically all her life had been spent in Rochester and vicinity.
The daughter of Melvin and Martha (WALTERS) TRUE, she was born Aug. 28, 1883, in Rochester. Her husband, Jasper McCAY, preceded her in death 10 years ago. Mrs. McCay was a member of the Rochester Baptist church, the Spanish-American and the VFW Auxiliaries and the Rebekah lodge.
She is survived by five children, Miss Martha McCAY, this city; Mrs. Earl FOUTS, Mishawaka; James, Carl and Mervin McCAY, all of Mishawaka.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Baptist church with Rev. H. Gordon HYDE officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. After 7 p.m. today friends may call at the Foster funeral home until 1 p.m. Thursday at which time the body will be taken to the church.
