Ronald Fleissner, 79 of Duluth, Minn, died Sunday, March 29, in St. Luke's Hospice.

He was born on Aug 14, 1929 to Edward and Mary Fleissner in Highland Park, Mich.

He moved to Minnesota following the premature death of his mother. By age 15 he was living on his own, working and attending high school. He graduated from Cokato, Minn High School in 1947 and served in the army from March 1951 to February 1953. On Oct. 3, 1953 he married Beverly Kay Ness in Detroit Lakes, Minn. She preceded him in death 2004.

Ron worked as a printing pressman for many years. He also sold real estate and at one time owned a real estate company. Ron enjoyed wood working and was an avid reader. He was especially interested in military history.

Ronald is survived by four children, David (Joyce) of Duluth, Kelly (Betty) of Duluth, Paul (Lisa) of Rochester, Minn., Erica (David) Foertsch of Burnsville, Minn.; and 10 grandchildren.

VISITATION: 6 p.m. Thursday until the 7:30 p.m. prayer service in Williams-Lobermeier Funeral Home. Rev Fr. William Fider officiating. Burial at Oneota Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier Funeral Home.
