SUSIE L COX WILEY FORD, W.Va. Susie Lucinda (Baldwin) Cox, 95, of Wiley Ford, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2000, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born on June 9, 1905, in Patterson Creek, she was the daughter of the late George Seymour and Mary Ann (Abe) Baldwin. She was also preceded in death by her son, James W. "Bill" Cox, and a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Cox. Mrs. Cox was a homemaker and was Protestant by faith. Surviving are her husband of 76 years, James Raymond Cox; one son, Cecil C. Cox, Wiley Ford; two sisters, Edith Ashenfelter, Ridgeley, Nellie Rhodes, Baltimore, Md.; two grandsons, Joseph R. Cox and wife Carol, David W. Cox and wife Kathy, all of Cumberland; and one daughter-in-law, Claris Cox, Kirby. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Benny R. Brakeall officiating. Interment will be in Abe Cemetery, Old Furnace Road.
