Funeral of John Alton.
The body of John H. Alton, son of Mr. and Mrs. I.S. Alton of 908 East Fifth avenue, and nephew of Hugh Harlan, was brought in today from Malaga, New Mexico, where he died last Friday evening of bronchial trouble, and the funeral will be held from the parental home tomorrow at two o'clock.
John was twenty-eight years old and was well known here, although for the last five years he has claimed Enid, Oklahoma, as his residence, being engaged in the wholesale grocery business with an uncle there.
Bronchial trouble necessiated his removal to New Mexico, but change of climate failed to benefit him. An aunt, Mrs. Maxwell, was with him and care for him during his death sickness. The end being hastened by hemorrhage.
