Olson, Caroline A. age 86, of Bloomington. Born November 3, 1922, was welcomed into heaven on Thursday, March 26, 2009. A beloved wife of 61 years, Caroline spent her life taking care of her family and friends. She was most proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and would always make sure she took time with each and every one of them. Her traditional values, caring spirit, and her love for those close to her will be greatly missed. Caroline was born in Veblen, SD, lived and raised on a prairie farm along with her sister and three brothers. Caroline attended college at Aberdeen Teacher's College. After graduation, she taught in a one room school house. From there she spent some time in Seattle before she moved to Minneapolis where she met Arnold, who became her husband. Together they raised four boys and were rewarded with thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchild- ren. She adored her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and sister. Caroline loved dancing, gardening, sewing, cooking, and baking. She was active well into her eighties. She was loved by all who knew her and will not be forgotten.
