Mary was the mother of Delia B. Baxter b. 1864 and Walter S. Baxter b. 1865. Mary's daughter Delia married Alexander Westrup born in England. In the 1880 Census Mary is living with her husband and children on Morgan Street in Santa Rosa, California.
In 1900 Mary is listed as a boarder in the home of Irvin and Anna Peck. In the 1910 Census Mary is living with Delia and her husband Alexander in Glen Ellen, California. Mary was the grandmother of Dorothy E. Westrup.
Mary is buried with her husband and son in Fulkerson Plot 21.
