Mr. Moore died at his home in Laurel Heights on Monday, December 29. He had been in ill health for some time.
A native of Kentucky [sic Missouri], Mr. Moore was born on September 25 [sic 24], 1856 and moved to Louisiana several years later. He had been a resident of Winnfield since 1910. He was a member of the Laurel Heights Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by four sons, Robert D. Moore of Oklahoma City, H. L. Moore of Monroe, Tom Moore of Minden, Fred Moore of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Harrell and Mrs. Pearl Gerald of Winnfield; one brother, Sam Moore of Kentucky; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were D. M. Howell, David White, A. T. Dean, I. Fogger, Lonnie Fogger, and A. J. Pittman.
