Last Rites For Local
Man To Be Held Thursday Morning
George W. Barnett, age 75 years, died at his home at 66 Martinsville Street, Thursday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock following a several months illness.
He is survived by the widow, two sons, Cecil Barnett and Hugh Barnett, and three daughters, Mrs. Golda Myers of Lebanon, Mrs. Bessie Vail of Clinton, and Mrs. Myrtle Reynolds, north of the city, and a stepson Fred James.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the McCurry Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
According to cemetery record book 1 page 241, George is buried at Forrest Hills Cemetery, Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana, lot 9, section B-B, range R-2 without a headstone.
