Ocala - Florence Evelyn "Ev" Bullen passed away peaceful on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 with her husband of 64 years by her side in Ocala, Florida. Evelyn was born January 13, 1925 in Malden, Mass. To Alberta Kennedy and Edwin Grigg. She was a Navy Wave and was discharged in October 1944 as a Hospital Apprentice 2nd Class. She married Walter John Bullen on October 14, 1944 and they have 2 children Nancy Staudinger of Annapolis, Md. and David Bullen of Dallas, Tx. Evelyn is survived by 3 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Evelyn resided in Annapolis, with Walter, until retiring from the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court where she was with the Court reporters office. Evelyn was active in the Catholic Daughters in Annapolis and the Ladies of the Elks in Annapolis. She moved to Ocala in 1987, Evelyn volunteered at Monroe Regional Hospital and at the Emergency center at Timber Ridge. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Hospice of Marion County in memory of Evelyn. There will be a gathering at the Roberts Bruce West Chapel 6241 SW State Road 200, Ocala, Fl on Friday April 3, 2009 from 10:00 to 12:00 noon for family and friends to come and remember Evelyn, The funeral service celebrating Evelyn life will being at 12:00 noon at the funeral chapel.
